4. Three main transportation services in the area that can take you from the airport to the motel - and can take you from motel back to the airport when returning home-

Least Cost Transportation - From airport to your motel - upon arrival at the airport, ask an information booth - which bus takes you to the Santa Fe Train Station - Be sure when boarding the bus - ask your bus driver for a Transfer Slip - (you must keep this on you at all times). Then when at the train station - look for a trolly that goes to San Ysidro - when you arrive at the San Ysidro trolly station - call your motel or a cab to pick you up for a ride to your motel.
5. A van at the Best Western - Americana Inn OR a van at the Best Value Inn will take you to the clinic and return you back to the motel. This is a free service to you. When checking into the motel be sure to ask your motel manager what time and where to meet the morning you go to the clinic.

OR -

IF YOU DRIVE IN- If you drive in California on Interstate-80 from the East, stay on Interstate-80 until you come to Interstate-5. Then go south on Interstate-5 until you come to the Dairy Mart Exit. Then turn left over the interstate and go to the first stop light which is San Ysidro Blvd. At this stop light (San Ysidro Blvd.) turn right for approximately 1/2 block. The Americana Inn - Best Western Inn is located on the left side of the street.

OR -

At this stoplight (San Ysidro Blvd.) turn left approximately 1/2 block for the Best Value Inn located on the left side of the street. IF YOU ARE STAYING at some other motel, or at a friend's house in the San Diego area you can call Dennis Hellingson (a private taxi escort) that takes people to the clinic and back daily.

If you are driving a motor home or pulling a camper trailer you can rent a space at the International Motor Inn. (with hook-ups available) Location: Going South on Interstate-5 turn off right at the San Ysidro exit - Look to the Soutwest you will see the International Motor Inn. They will give you a ride over to and back from the clinic. Call ahead for reservations at
